Steps to Apply for Dual Enrollment
Student Services has provided a step-by-step process for applying for dual enrollment. Your counselor is happy to help if you have questions or get stuck on a step. Be sure to contact your counselor giving yourself ample time before deadlines. Please note: It is the student’s responsibility to make sure all applications, forms, and required documents are submitted by the college’s deadline.

UNG APPLICATION INFORMATION
1. Meet Qualifying Scores and GPA Requirements
GPA – 3.25 unweighted core
ACT – 20 composite, 20 English or Reading, 18 Math
SAT – 530 Reading, 480 Math, 1050 combined
2. Register to test and complete SAT or ACT practice
When asked where to send your scores, make sure UNG is one of your choices
Dates and registration information are listed on the testing page
3. Apply online to UNG
Make sure you select “Dual Enrollment” option when it asks for Application Type to avoid fee
If student plans on taking UNG classes through Ivester Early College, they will also need to apply online to IEC as well
4. Once you have qualifying scores, schedule an appointment with your high school counselor
You will discuss class options and submit a copy of your driver’s license or permit to complete your UNG application
5. Check your application status online to ensure you have everything submitted
6. As soon as you are accepted, contact the UNG adviser, Ms. Imani Cabell ([email protected]) to schedule an
advising appointment and register for classes.
**Ivester Early College students will request classes via an email link sent by IEC
7. Complete the GA Futures funding application to ensure the classes are paid for
