American Pest Control Gene Higginbotham Scholarship
American Pest Control introduced the Gene Higginbotham Memorial Scholarship in May 2016. Gene Higginbotham founded American Pest Control in 1971. He valued family, education, and community as top priorities for his company. Mr. Higginbotham passed away on August 30th, 2015 and the scholarship was created in his honor by family and employees to continue his legacy. For American Pest Control's 45th anniversary year, the scholarship was awarded to children of American Pest Control employees who graduated in May 2016. Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship
We are committed to providing access to pathways through education and into the STEM workforce for all students, particularly those from diverse backgrounds and communities historically underrepresented in STEM fields. Each year, the STEM Scholarship Program awards $10,000 to 200 recipients studying engineering or computer science at a 4-year college or university. Metro Atlanta Relocation Council Scholarship
The Metro Atlanta Relocation Council (MARC) is proud to announce our eleventh annual MARC Scholarship Program for current high school seniors who have relocated into the Atlanta area over the course of their high school career.
The student must have relocated more than 50 miles sometime between grades 9 (after completion of 8th grade) and 12 and changed schools due to their family's relocation. Residence eligibility is defined as a senior attending a private or public school in any city or county district within the 15-County Greater Atlanta area. The applicant must also have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 (or equivalent achievement on a different scale).
Students will be evaluated on academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and on their response to an essay addressing the way they handled the challenges associated with relocating to a new area and a new high school.

The PB&J Scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed.
