Steps to Apply for Dual Enrollment
Student Services has provided a step-by-step process for applying for dual enrollment. Your counselor is happy to help if you have questions or get stuck on a step. Be sure to contact your counselor giving yourself ample time before deadlines. Please note: It is the student’s responsibility to make sure all applications, forms, and required documents are submitted by the college’s deadline.

LTC APPLICATION INFORMATION
1. Apply Online Here and select "Dual Enrollment" for Application Type
- Select Interdisciplinary Studies as your program of study if you are interested in taking core classes such as Math English, History, to satisfy your high school graduation requirements or to get ahead on college requirements.
- Select the appropriate certificate program if you know that you would like to participate in a specific pathway of study offered at Lanier Technical College.
- If student plans on taking LTC classes at the Ivester Early College of LCCA Campuses, also apply to IEC or LCCA as well
>>Please do not provide or send an email from your high school email account to Lanier Technicak College. Emails between high school email accounts and Lanier Technical accounts may not be received. >>
2. Request your high school transcript from your high school counselor.
3. Provide College Placement Scores which may include one or more of the following:
- HOPE GPA or PSAT: Request from your high school counselor to submit verification of your HOPE GPA of a 2.60 or higher after completion of your 10th grade year or your PSAT scores.
- SAT, ACT, OR AP Test Scores: Sent official copies of your SAT or ACT scores directly from the testing agency. If you complete an AP Exam, you must request the official AP scores from the testing agency. (SAT code: 7289 or ACT code: 7096)
- Schedule an ACCUPLACER Testing Session. Students are allowed two attempts per academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer) to make minimum score requirement and must complete a 30 day wait period between each testing session.

5. Check your Admission status online here. It will require the login ID and PIN created when you initially applied. The
admissions process may take several weeks and your patience is appreciated.
6. Check your email. LTC will send a variety of emails to applicants including notification of acceptance, information on next steps, and the opportunity to register for classes.
7. Once you have met admission requirements, schedule an appointment with your high school counselor to discuss
class options, graduation requirements, and scheduling.
8. Complete the GA Futures Funding Application to ensure the classes are paid for. This application has to be
completed by both the student and the parent/guardian (this was the "student participation agreement"). Watch this detailed video that walks you through the process.
9. Make an appointment with your Dual Enrollment Coordinator (contact info. will be on your acceptance letter).
- For students taking LTC classes at Ivester Early College, a registration link will be sent via email from IEC
- For students taking LTC classes at LCCA, contact Lisa McDowell to register
