Steps to Apply for Dual Enrollment
Student Services has provided a step-by-step process for applying for dual enrollment. Your counselor is happy to help if you have questions or get stuck on a step. Be sure to contact your counselor giving yourself ample time before deadlines. Please note: It is the student’s responsibility to make sure all applications, forms, and required documents are submitted by the college’s deadline.

BRENAU APPLICATION INFORMATION
1. Apply online to Brenau University
There is a specific Dual Enrollment Application to use.
If student plans on taking Brenau classes through Ivester Early College, they will also need to apply online to IEC as well.
Fall application deadline - July 2nd; Summer application deadline - April 16th
2. Meet Admission Requirements
GPA – 3.0
ACT – 20 in English
SAT – 540 in Evidence Based Reading
Next-Generation Accuplacer – 243 in Reading & 243 in Writing
If interested in College Algebra must take Brenau’s Math Placement Exam
3. Register to test and complete practice
Testing dates, registration, and practice information can be found on the testing page
**If you register for the SAT/ACT, make sure you list Brenau when asked where to send scores
4. Schedule an appointment with your counselor
Send official high school transcript
Fill out Brenau University paper registration form with days/time of classes
Fill out Brenau University transcript release form
5. Complete the GA Futures Funding Application
This application has to be completed by both the student and parent/guardian. Watch this detailed video that walks you through the process.
